Conor McGregor claims he and Dee Devlin were given the ‘keys to the Vatican’ as the couple and their family visited the Sistine Chapel in Rome.
McGregor and Fiancee Dee were pictured enjoying the spectacular chapel, of which the roof was painted by famous renaissance artist Michelangelo, as well as his children and mother Margaret.
Taking to Instagram, the UFC star shared a host of pictures including one of the couple holding a giant ring of keys that McGregor claims was the ‘keys to the Vatican’.
The pair are in the Italian capital ahead of their youngest son Rian’s Christening this weekend, and have been reunited with family and friends after McGregor’s extended stay in the US this summer.
McGregor is having a rare old time this week, sparking crazy scenes on the streets of Rome with Devlin and meeting legendary football manager Jose Mourinho.
Taking to Instagram, McGregor shared a host of snaps of the pair enjoying a drink as ‘The Special One’ presented McGregor with a FC Roma jersey.
McGregor labelled Mourinho, who has previously managed the Dubliner’s boyhood club Manchester United, a legend as they enjoyed a drink.
McGregor looked like he was enjoying a great night in the Italian capital as he was pictured with Devlin, his three children as well as family like his mother Margaret, dad Tony and sister Aoife.
It comes after McGregor chartered a flight to jet over his niece Taylor, sister Aoife and a host of other family and friends to Rome for his son’s Christening this weekend.
McGregor recently flew over to Rome as he prepares for Rian’s big day and is also in Italy to collect his €3m Lamborghini yacht.
